Corporation announced the immediate
availability of Quality Requirements
Planning (QRP) Level 1, an
industry first. QRP provides
the first quality scheduling and
planning solution in quality control for
corporations operating Microsoft
Dynamics AX. Similar to MRP, QRP gives
quality planning personnel digital
dashboards to see and plan upcoming
inspections days, weeks, or months in
advance. Just as material planners use
tools to plan material; QRP provides
personnel tools to plan and execute
inspections from automated scheduling
derived from MRP.
Weve listened to our customer base and
too many times quality steps are missed
as quality just doesnt have the tool
set to plan ahead, states Tim Holmquist
of ERP Solutions. It seemed like a
fairly simple solution to provide a
visual tool box where quality control
can see their future requirements.
However, to display QRP in a simple and
automated format took some creativity by
our development team. We solved the
problem and believe this technology will
change the way companies operate in the
future. Holmquist further stated that
feedback from customers using this new
technology reported that they increased
product quality, observed less customer
nonconforming conditions, and achieved
100 percent quality control.
QRP operates in a job similar to MRP.
QRP derives its information from MRP
and provides detailed schedules to the
quality planners. Inspection timelines
are automatically scheduled,
rescheduled, moved, or cancelled based
upon MRP results. QRP also anticipates
the quality plan along with MRP and
incorporates the frequencies into the
QRP plan. Total Quality Control
Management incorporates multiple
frequency inspection types based upon
acceptable industry standards including
quantity and time based frequencies.
QRP is compatible with any Dynamics AX
environment using MRP. QRP is an
embedded standard feature of Total
Quality Control Management by ERP
Solutions, Inc. The company states that
QRP Level 1 is available in their
current version of Total Quality Control
Management. QRP level 2 is scheduled
for release Q1, 2008.
